Arc de Triomphe

The Arc de Triomphe is one of the most famous monuments in Paris. The monument was built in 1806 to honor those who died in the French Revolutionary. The monument stands in the center of Place Charles de Gualle and Champs-Elysees, the heart of the shopping district where there are many recognizable shops such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and other high end designer stores.


Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower is one of the most recognizable structures in the world. The tower stands at 1,063 feet tall. The tower has elevators that can take you to the top of the tower where you can see the Paris skyline. On the southeast side of the Eiffel Tower, also known as Champ de Mars, is a long stretch of grassy area where you can enjoy a picnic while watching the tower lights up after sun set.


Monet's Home and Garden

Located in Giverny, about 30 minutes outside of Paris, is a house and garden owned by the famous impressionist painter, Claude Monet. This is a historic landmark where Monet found his inspiration in his impressionist paintings, especially his famous lily pond paintings. There are tour buses that leave twice a day from Paris to Monet Home and Garden.
